NHRR Annual Ball and Awards Night – 10th Oct 2009

I was away meeting up with a close friend who was over from New Zealand, so was unable to make it to the Ball this year. This was a shame, as this Club has come to mean a great deal to me and this event is a celebration of what it means to belong.

I have worked extremely hard over the last year at my running, often despite (or perhaps because) of pressures in my personal life. In this context, to receive 3 Club Awards was a wonderful way to be recognised for my efforts.

* Best Male Runner

To see my name next to some of the illustrious previous winners is a genuine thrill and somewhat humbling... Sir Darth Frampton, Reginald Lord Sibbo III, Speed McKeown, Paul Pearce...


Thanks NHRR for providing me with the opportunity to discover a passion for running. I hope many more years of enjoyment still lie ahead.
