Aerobic fitness and speed endurance still improving
I've now been back running for just over 6 weeks. Average weekly mileage over that time has been 34. Despite this relatively low mileage, my aerobic fitness and speed endurance seem to be progressing quite well. Based upon Tuesday's 3x 1.6M session, I think my current 10k form may be just a shade under 37min. Not too bad all things considered. Hopefully by Nov/Dec I might have a decent race in me.
This graph shows how my aerobic fitness is improving in my easy-paced runs, based upon a measure of speed generated (mph) compared with effort (heart-rate).
